We want to thank everyone who took part in our fundraising program for Basics for Babies®.  We raised over $216,000 and over 16,000 pounds of baby food, pablum, formula, diapers, and other necessities!

93.7 JRfm, and sister station 600AM, created the charity in 1994 out of a specific need for baby food, formula, and diapers by local food banks.  To date, over $1.3 million and hundreds of thousands of pounds of necessities have been raised for the charity.  There is an ongoing chronic shortage of baby needs at food banks throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.  As difficult as it is to come to terms with any member of our community going hungry, when it comes to babies, it’s unthinkable.
