TRIPLE YOUR PAY WITH JRfm
RULES & REGULATIONS
Each day of the contest starting Monday April 14, 2008 and ending Friday May 23, 2008 listeners are eligible to play the contest “Triple Your Pay” with JRfm to triple their weekly pay!
1. No purchase necessary. All contestants are required to listen to 93.7 CJJR-FM between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday to hear their name. At that time, the contestant will be directed to call the JRfm contest line within 3 minutes at 604-280-9370. Qualify your name for the contest by becoming a JRfm Online Insider member at www.jrfm.com.
2. QUALIFYING PRIZE: If the qualifying contestant calls the JRfm contest line within the 3-minute limit they will instantly win $100 cash. Winner needs to wait 3 business days for their cheque to be prepared.
GRAND PRIZE: All successfully qualified contestants will also be eligible for the random draws to win the grand prize of tripling the amount of their weekly pay. The grand prize winner will be announced each Monday morning with the JRfm Waking Crew. If a holiday falls on a Monday, the grand prize announcement will take place on the Tuesday morning. The first grand prize winner will be announced on Monday April 21, 2008 and the final grand prize winner will be announced on Monday May 26, 2008.
THE GRAND PRIZE WILL BE A CASH PAYMENT UP TO A MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $5,000. JRFM WILL REQUIRE WRITTEN PROOF OF EACH GRAND PRIZE WINNER’S WEEKLY PAY STUB TO DETERMINE THE VALUE OF THE PRIZE. THE AMOUNT THAT IS TRIPLED WILL BE THE WEEKLY GROSS AMOUNT OF THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER. IF YOU ARE A STAY AT HOME PARENT, FULL TIME STUDENT, OR ARE CURRENTLY UNEMPLOYED, JRFM WILL PAY YOU A FLAT AMOUNT OF $1,000.
3. This contest is open to all residents of British Columbia only, except employees of the sponsor(s) and its/their subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising and promotional agencies and their immediate families. Entrants under the legal age of majority are eligible to win provided that the winning entrant’s parent or legal guardian accepts the prize on his/her behalf.
4. Prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable.
5. The sponsors of the contest will conduct communication only with the selected contestants and grand prize winners with no exceptions.
6. Contest winners must first correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill- testing question to be administered on paper. CONTEST WINNERS WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A STANDARD FORM OF DECLARATION AND RELEASE CONFIRMING COMPLIANCE WITH THE CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS ACKNOWLEDGING THE NON-RESPONSIBILITY OF JIM PATTISON BROADCAST GROUP LP, JIM PATTISON INDUSTRIES LTD., AND ALL AFFILIATED COMPANIES, AND ITS RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS AND OFFICERS AND ANY OTHER PRIZE SUPPLIERS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS INVOLVED, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE EMPLOYEES, FOR ANY LIABILITIES FOR INJURIES, ACCIDENTS, LOSS OR MISFORTUNE RELATING TO THE AWARDING OF THE PRIZE.
7. Only one (1) prize will be awarded per household per address. The decision of the contest judges is final. In the event that an entrant or contest winner is not eligible, or cannot be contacted after diligent efforts by CJJR-FM, CJJR-FM will have the right to qualify another entrant and CJJR-FM shall be released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in the regard. By entering in this contest, the entrants automatically agree to accept and abide by these rules.
8. All entries become the property of CJJR-FM, who assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed, destroyed or misdirected entries.
9. This contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial, and Municipal laws. Void where prohibited.
10. By entering, each entrant agrees to be bound by these rules. By entering the contest, each entrant consents to the use of their name, city of residence and/or photograph, without compensation, in any advertising or publicity carried out by the sponsors.
11. The sponsors accept no liability or responsibility in connection with injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of this contest or the prizes awarded.
12. CJJR-FM holds the right to amend contest rules or change contest rules at any time without prior notice. Other contests on CJJR-FM may have separate contest rules that will apply.
13. All qualifying prizes must be claimed within 60 days at the offices of CJJR-FM. After 60 days, prize becomes the property of CJJR-FM, to do with as it may determine, including awarding it to another contestant, and CJJR-FM shall be released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in the regard.
14. Contest rules and regulations for the contest “Triple Your Pay” with JRfm are available at the office of CJJR-FM, located at #300-1401 West 8th Ave, Vancouver, BC V6H 1C9. Office hours are 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
