Position: Promotions Assistant/Reception Fill In – 93.7 JRfm & 102.7 The PEAK
Location: Vancouver, BC
Compensation: $14.50/hour – Part Time (15-30 hrs per week)
Jim Pattison Broadcast Group, Canada’s largest western-based Radio and Television Company has an exciting opportunity to join our Vancouver team as a Promotions Assistant/Reception Fill In.
This entry level candidate will be located in Vancouver, be available Friday to Tuesday for flexible, mostly daytime hours in and out of the office. Do you have the energy and drive to be a part of the hardest working Promotions team in Vancouver? Do you love both Country Music and Modern Rock?
You’ll need to have strong organization, time management, and Social Media skills. You’ll need to be a quick learner and be able to adapt to a variety of situations. You’ll get to spend some of your time behind a computer, and some of it engaging with the Community. Are you good with people? Outgoing? Calm under pressure? A problem solver? Do you want to learn about radio, marketing and promotions in a fun environment?

- Self motivated, energetic and outgoing personality
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & Google Docs
- Strong Social Media skills
- Excellent Time Management & Organization skills
- Desire to learn technical aspects of broadcast setups.
- Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License and clean driving abstract.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
